By signing this legal document, you are giving up any legal rights you may have to sue The City of Boston Parks and Recreation Department, Y.M.C.A., Champions Cup Football League, Cleveland Circle Football League, Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, Andrew Tamayo, CCFL League Agents, Referees and Officials and all of the above mentioned names affiliates and subsidiaries in court for money damages.

Name of Event: CCFL BOSTON & EVENTS, The Heroes Football Tournament, Boston Fives Tournament, CCFL Boston Fall League, CCFL Boston Spring League, et al. Dates of Event: Saturday & Sundays January 1-2024 through 31-December-2024 and any make-up games on other dates associated with the current event or season of play.

I desire to participate in or attend one or more activities or events (flag football league) either partially or wholly sponsored, produced, directed, organized, conducted, coached, refereed or paid for by The City of Boston Parks and Recreation Department, Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, West Suburban Y.M.C.A, Cleveland Circle Football League, Champions Cup Football League, Andrew Tamayo, its subsidiaries, agents and other league field locations reserved for football participation. In exchange for the ability to participate in or attend the Events, I hereby and unconditionally agree for myself and my heirs, estate, insurers, and assigns, as follows:

ASSUMPTION OF RISK. I acknowledge that participation in or attendance at the Events involves risks and dangers of accidents, serious personal and bodily injury, including death, and property loss or damage. I understand and I have considered and evaluated the nature, scope, and extent of the risks, and I voluntarily and freely choose to assume these risks.

RELEASE FROM LIABILITY. I fully and forever release, and discharge The City of Boston Parks and Recreation Department, Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, Y.M.C.A, Cleveland Circle Football League, Champions Cup Football League, Andrew Tamayo, and all of the above mentioned names affiliates and subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, agents, insurers, referees, officials and all others involved in the Events (the Released Parties) from any and all losses, damages, injuries (including death), claims, demands, lawsuits, expenses (including attorney fees), and any other liability of any kind, of or to me or any other person, directly or indirectly arising out of or in connection with my participation in or attendance at the Events, including transportation related to the Events.

COVENANT NOT TO SUE. I will not initiate any lawsuit, court action or other legal proceeding against the Released Parties, nor join or assist in the prosecution of any claim for money damages which anyone may have, on account of loss, damage, or injury sustained by me or others in connection with my participation in or attendance at the Events, and I waive any right I may have to do so. This means that I cannot sue to hold the Released Parties responsible for any loss, damage, or injury that I may experience related to the Events.

NO SUBROGATION. I waive my insurers right to make a claim against the Released Parties based on insurance payments made to me or on my behalf for any reason. This means my insurers have no rights of subrogation.

INDEMNITY. I will hold harmless, indemnify, and reimburse the Released Parties from and for any sums, costs, or expenses (including attorney fees) incurred by any of the Released Parties or paid by them to any person (including me or my insurers) in connection with any accident, loss, damage, or injury (including death) sustained by me or others in connection with my attendance at or participation in the Events, including transportation related to the Events. This means that I will reimburse the Released Parties if anyone makes a claim against them based on damages or injuries I suffer.

NO INSURANCE; MEDICAL EXPENSES. The City of Boston Parks and Recreation Department, Y.M.C.A, Cleveland Circle Football League, Champions Cup Football League, Andrew Tamayo, and all of the above mentioned names affiliates and subsidiaries do not provide insurance, either life, medical or liability, for any illness, accident, injury, loss, or damage that may arise in connection with my participation in or attendance at the Events. If I want insurance of any kind, I must obtain my own. I will pay my own medical emergency expenses and all subsequent medical expenses in the event of any illness, accident, or injury in connection with the Event.

VALIDITY. If any portion of this Release and Waiver is held to be invalid or unenforceable, all other provisions shall nevertheless continue to be valid and enforceable. This Release and Waiver supersedes any oral or written statements made by or to me in connection with the Event. I understand that I cannot terminate, cancel, or revoke this Release and waiver for any reason.

 

LEAGUE FEES.

2024 Spring Legue Team Fee (Daly Field): ​$880 per team of 8 players; or $110 per player on a team roster.

2024 Fall Legue Team Fee (Cleveland Circle, Charlestown, Daisy Field, Etc.): ​$880 per team of 8 players; or $110 per player on a team roster.

2024 Boston Fives Team Fee: $880 per team, $110 for additional player after 8 players.

2024 Spring & Fall 2023 Free Agent Fee: $120 season.

2024 Tournament Player Fee: $40 per tournament.

2024 Substitution Fee: $30 per game.

Note: Dates and Fields are subject to change.

PLAYER EXPULSION. The determination of sportsmanship violations is reserved for the judgment of the referees. Behavior outside the traditional notions of sportsmanship constitutes a violation of this rule. This includes, but is not limited to: taunting, offensive language or conduct, physical violence, or interfering with the referees ability to officiate. The referees may impose a loss of fifteen (15) yards during a game, depending on the severity of the infraction. Flagrant or severely egregious conduct may result in ejection and referral of player conduct to the Commissioner of CCFL BOSTON for more serious penalties. League officers may institute other equitable remedies. Chronic violations may merit indefinite suspension from the league.

WORKPLACE SAFETY and REOPENING STANDARDS FOR BUSINESSES and OTHER ENTITIES PROVIDING YOUTH and ADULT AMATEUR SPORTS ACTIVITIES. All players & participants must follow State, City and League guidelines to participate.
