SERVANT LEADER RELEASE OF LIABILITY- Rock The Desert Ministries, Inc. 2002

RELEASOR (Servant Leader) understands the Rock the Desert Festival is operated by Rock The Desert Ministries.

RELEASOR has been given permission to enter the premises for the express purpose of volunteering time and effort towards the construction and operations of the festival. RELEASOR recognizes and understands that many of said activities can be extremely dangerous in nature and can cause significant injury to person or property.

RELEASOR desires to attend activities at Rock The Desert Festival and, in exchange for the use of the Rock The Desert Festival premises, RELEASOR hereby voluntarily releases and waives any claim of liability against Rock The Desert Festival and its owners, operators, employees, representatives, agents and volunteers for any and all personal injury or property damage sustained by RELEASOR while on the premises of Rock The Desert Festival. In consideration of being permitted to use the facilities of Rock The Desert Festival during the construction and operations of the festival, RELEASOR, on behalf of the RELEASOR and the personal representatives, assignees, heirs, and next of kin of RELEASOR, releases, waives, discharges and covenants not to sue Rock The Desert Festival, its owners, operators, employees, representatives, agents and volunteers (hereinafter referred to as RELEASEES) from any and all liability to RELEASOR and RELEASORS personal representatives, assignees, heirs, and next of kin, for any and all loss or damage, and any claims or damage therefore, on account of injury or property of RELEASOR, while RELEASOR is at Rock the Desert Festival or using its property, equipment or facilities. RELEASOR assumes full responsibility for any risk of bodily injury, death or property damage to RELEASOR while in or at the Rock The Desert Festival and/or while engaging in any activities at Rock The Desert. RELEASOR understands that Rock The Desert Festival is not required to, and does not provide Workmans Compensation for Volunteers.

RELEASOR expressly agrees this release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of Texas and that, if any portion of this agreement is held to be invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, not withstanding, continue in full force and effect.

This release contains the entire agreement between the parties and this agreement, and the terms of this release, are contractual and not mere recitals. This release will be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas.

I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS AGREEMENT AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS. I AM AWARE THAT THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS AND CONTRACT BETWEEN ME AND THE ROCK THE DESERT FESTIVAL AND ITS OWNERS AND OPERATORS AND I HAVE SIGNED IT OF MY OWN FREE WILL.

By agreeing here, you give Rock the Desert Ministries, Inc. your consent to perform a background check if selected.*

I understand that I must purchase a ticket to cover my admission to the festival and that I am responsible for returning any Rock The Desert items used during my service, i.e. vests, flashlights, badges, etc.
